I love this! I had created a similar output in python but in a way that feels way dirtier (folium to generate html choropleth+ selenium to open the html and grab a screenshot + imageio to put the scrrenshots together in a gif). I’d like to try this method, but I am concerned about one thing that I could achieve with my workflow: I could set the thresholds for the color gradient, so that the same blue shade references the same value throughout all the gif. Can I achieve the same with this method?
